Eagles of God: Kiev Ukraine Report

Dear Saints:

Thank you for praying for us. I cannot say that this has been the easiest trip we’ve ever taken.  We are now back home in the United States.  The trip was so demanding that we only had time to write you on the plane flight back.  We will be sending you the reports of what your prayers have accomplished, country by country.  We saw the Kingdom advance everywhere we went. Thank you for your faithfulness.

The Breakthrough in the Ukraine was Incredible

This is a time that leadership must arise for the future. Dr. Peter Wagner assembled a meeting of apostles from across the nations of the former Soviet Union.  Thirty-six leaders from seven nations came together in a peer-level meeting to share and receive revelation for the future.  We were hosted by Pastor Sunday Adelajah of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations. This is one of the largest churches in all Europe.
      The former Soviet-Bloc countries were controlled by oppressive mindsets and philosophies. Nationalism was the religion until 1990.  The greatest religious structures, of course, were Russian Orthodox-ism and Catholicism.  These still are very predominate forces.  But God!  There is a new level of leadership rising up. 
      We had leaders from Moscow, Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Poland as well as other cities and nations.  At the outset of our introductions, each person would acknowledge that the mindset of the former Soviet Union still existed in these lands.  By the afternoon of the first day the Spirit of God began to move greatly.

Stephania Soup Kitchen/Rehab and Medical Center

After our first day of meetings, we had the opportunity to visit the host church’s soup kitchen, Stephania.  On average, 2,000 people are fed each day.  However, this outreach ministry is far more than a place for an individual to get a warm meal.  Instead, they focus on the total health of a person – physical as well as spiritual.  Each person is given an opportunity to bath and be treated for lice.  Their clothes are also treated for lice and washed.  Then they are also provided with free medical service. 
      We were taken through the entire facility.  Not only was the building spotless, but the medical service was fully certified, according the nation’s highest standards.  Many times government officials have come through the facility looking for an excuse to close down this ministry, but they have never found any grounds to shut down their operation.  Furthermore, all of this is free!
     Additionally, each person is presented with the Gospel message.  They could also watch the Jesus video, and had access to a library.  Then they were also provided with a measure of rudimentary schooling, as well as skill training in sewing and other areas.  The entire complex was truly amazing, and has already serviced over 1,000,000 people in its five years of existence.  All across the nation, people know of this ministry!

From Reformation to Transformation

You could see this group of leaders was ready to move from a reform mindset to a transformation mindset.  Reform is where things just come into a new order, and the structures of society begin to take on a different look.  Transformation is where you experience a metamorphosis and begin to think in a new manner.  God is raising up leadership in the regions of the world that have “transformation” mindset.  One incredible thing that we experienced in this meeting in Kiev was one of the best models I have ever seen of Intercessor/Prophet/Apostle Alignment.  I think this is why we started to have such a breakthrough.   

Pastor Sunday Adelajah, Aleksey Lediaev, Bob Weiner, Sergey Timohin, John Kelly, Sofia Pogorelova, and Henry Madava prepared a report on the condition of the former Soviet Union and an apostolic strategy for breakthrough. In 1983 the Lord called me to begin praying for the former Soviet nations.  Their liberation would begin in November 1989.  In 1990, the Lord showed me that a wave of oppression had gone out to give these nations a window of enlightenment and awakening.  But then He showed me another wave of oppression that would begin to come in again.  Now, 14 years later, you can feel that wave rising.  This was God’s perfect timing for us to be there.  This is the former Soviet Bloc countries’ time to enter into deliverance and strength because of the future that is ahead. 

The first wave removed some bondage and the Lord has given them a small window of enlightenment.  Ezra 9:8 says, “But now, for a brief moment, the Lord our God has been gracious in leaving us a remnant and giving us a firm place in His sanctuary, and so our God gives light to our eyes and a little relief in our bondage.” 
      There must now be an apostolic prophetic base established so that the next wave of bondage that comes into these lands is withstood properly. This approaching wave of oppression will be more dangerous and oppressive than the last structure that strapped the Church down for 70 years. 
     These nations must enter into the window of opportunity that is forming to establish the Church.  In the past there has been a lack of apostolic prophetic structure in these nations in order to fully break out of the legalistic religious structure of the past. This meeting represented a new breed and produced much encouragement for the Harvest ahead in these lands.      

The Lord began to speak, “The same spirit as in the days of Esther, the Haman spirit, has resided in the former Soviet Bloc nations.  But I am going to raise up a group of leaders that would have a strategy to overthrow this Haman force.  Begin now to join hands and move with Me in a way that you have never moved before.  There is a new wave of oppression coming that is upon your horizon that will overcome you unless you dig deep now. Your confrontation must go deep.
      Prepare for a great Harvest!  For this wave of governmental control will have a supernatural dimension that will empower the civil government with occult forces that will attempt to annihilate My Church.  My Kingdom is a Kingdom that cannot be stopped.  However, this is a time that you must have revelation power to demonstrate My authority.  This will be as the days of Moses. 
     If you will embrace My fire in a new way you will overthrow the structure that is forming against you.  I say signs and wonders will come to these lands and begin to break the powers that are arising.  This will be a season of apostolic confrontation for My Church and its leaders.”    

The Lord then showed us the movement of the Spirit in the Jewish people of the nation.  This will infuriate the civil government.  The Church will then come to the aid of the Messianic Church. In Russia there will be a new model arise of the One New Man. 

There is a window that is forming in the heavens over these nations. When this window aligns, the Lord will open the heavens over the former Soviet counties for 3.5 years and pour down a supernatural power and favor upon the Church. The Church will develop and mature in a way that they can contend and withstand the governmental force that will come against them.  This window is beginning to move over these nations. 

Peter Wagner then said:  “In the second wave you will see a political alliance, not a political spirit of atheism as last time, but an alliance of politics and religion where non-Orthodox will be persecuted.  Therefore, we need to understand the spirit of religion and its alliance with the political spirit.” These will be “as in the days of Herod.” This wave of opposition will begin developing against these nations in October.  But the window of opportunity will be positioned over them starting in May of next year (2005). 
      Don’t allow the enemy to pull you out of your abiding place during this time-frame where you see the enemy seeming to gaining ground.  God will start giving you the strategy and wisdom to overthrow the enemy’s plan.  There will be an opening for confrontations to occur.  But don’t confront out of time.  These nations are in a very strategic time. 

Strongholds...

On our last day we entered into the most incredible time of intercession, with apostles, that I have ever participated in.  These men and women were hungry and desperate.  The Spirit of God entered the room with us.  We began by addressing the strongholds of the region. Usually this does not occur. However, the Lord led the leaders to do this. They began to list the following structures stopping spiritual breakthrough in this region of the world:

1. Spirit of Communism.  We must use declaration and proclamation in our governmental authority.
2. Spirit of Cain.
3. Spirit of Sophia: wisdom and religion
4. Spirit of Fear and Intimidation.
5. Demons of Doctrines: Deception linked with wrong doctrines the Church has embraced. These doctrines have led us into just patiently waiting for Jesus’ return rather than taking up our governmental authority and warring to take responsibility for society.  This can be defeated through education and training.  We discussed Ps. 115:16 and Ps. 82:1-7.

The Spirit of Cain

To tear down a stronghold, you must first define it.  The spirit of Cain is the root, and communism and other philosophies and ruling powers have sprung from this root. 

1. Cain was the first born but lost his first born right.
2. He lost the first fruit anointing.
3. He was the first murderer.
4. He was the first to be sent out from the presence of God.  (Adam and Eve left the presence of God, but were not sent out.)
5. He was the first person to have a curse pronounced on him.
6. He was the first to have his conscious seared because of the blood shed on the ground.  The blood crying out from the ground tormented his conscience.
7. He was a wandering exile – a fugitive, and could not get rooted.
8. He was sent to the land of Nod.  (Nod may have been around the Persian Gulf area.)  From there the descendants of Cain moved to Magog and Gog.  This is north of Nod.  That is what connects the spirit of Cain into these lands.   

In latter days there will be a conspiracy found in Gog and Magog.  This will come in two ways:

To overthrow the spirit of Cain means:

The real war for the Church in this region is to bring God’s presence into the region.  Cain was very religious but built without the presence of God.  The Cain-principle is a first fruit principle.  Apostles are first in God’s order and prototype. When the apostolic anointing rises to its next dimension in these regions, only then can the Cain spirit be overthrown.  Not only do apostles need to rise up, but the Church must also become an apostolic church that can withstand the political turmoil.

The Future

There is a key connection between the Black Sea and Persian Gulf.  The Ukraine is a region that can impact the apostolic into the nations around the Persian Gulf area.  Ukraine also has great potential to access change in the nation of Syria. 
      We want to decree that all the old worship systems be overthrown so that the presence of God can be restored fully in the Church in these regions. The Church must arise and cause the communistic mentality to be uprooted from this region, in order that many may be delivered from that mentality. This will cause an open window for Harvest. This will force a political confrontation where the government of the Church and the government of the nations in that region have such a confrontation that it’s heard world-wide.  They are headed into the greatest confrontation ever. 
      What makes this different now, rather than the 1960s, 1970s, or 1980s, is that there is now an apostolic order and authority.  Whereas in the last season the Church succumbed to the changes, this will be a season in which the Church makes great headway, and the voice of the Church in this region will be heard. 
      We must war for the apostolic Church to rise up with great strength in this region. Then those of the Church of this generation will carry such a presence of God that they are not afraid to face the confrontation of the political structure. 

The spirit of Cain is embedded in the political structure of that region.  That region has a root of murder, or anti-Semitism, and it is rooted in the political structure.  This murderous, anti-Semitic structure will always be conspiring against God’s covenant plan.  Do not be deceived by the political structure of that region.  It will always be conspiring against God’s covenant plan, including the Church and the Abrahamic covenant related to the Jewish people.
      The apostolic authority of the Church is going to rise to a new level in that region, and instead of it being divided it’s going to move into a corporate anointing that will produce demonstrative power. That region will be ”as in the days of Moses,” where great demonstration is going on from Heaven to earth.  God is raising up many new leaders right now that have been being prepared for this type of demonstration. 

We began to pray prophetically from Ezekiel 38. This is a time for the Church to rise up and put on a new apostolic mantle throughout this entire bloc of former Soviet nations.  We gave thanks that the Church will not retreat but advance. We gave thanks that the leaders will align and join hands together.  And we gave thanks for 1,000 apostolic leaders to be raised up across that region - 1,000 new wineskin leaders that will rise up and unite in that region.
      We asked the Lord to anoint them with power and demonstration.  We called forth the Nebuchadnezzars and Dariuses all through the political structures. We declared the Lord would raise up those who will favor the Church in the political structure so that the Church can gain a new footing in this region. We loosed apostolic faith in the Church. 

We declared that the Church will be victorious against the confederation of the secular spirit and the political spirit.  We declared the government of God will enter into the political system, arts, social system, spiritual system, and into every area of life and dominion.  We declared that the spirit of communism would not have power and effectiveness against the Church as of that day. 
      The Church in that region must war to break down the spirit of anti-Semitism.  Historically, Abraham received revelation of the Lord from the line of Abel (not Cain).  The war over worship in that whole region will be turning now.  A new form of worship will sweep that region.  Worship will begin to arise and bring great change in that area.  Worship linked with blood sacrifice will arise with the sound of Heaven across that region.  Singing will begin to break out all over that area. 
      The Church will arise with great worship and power.  The worship that arises in the apostolic Church will create a conversion of many souls throughout the region, and many will be delivered out of an old form of worship. 

Apostolic Decrees have Great Power

Before we left, the Lord impressed Marty Cassady to tell Peter that an apostolic decree from him would be important in this region. This decree also would be a good model for you to use as you pray for your territory.

Dr. Peter Wagner closed our time with this apostolic declaration:

"I now stand here to serve notice to you, you principalities and powers who are attempting to counteract the divine vision that God has given to His apostles for the transformation of the societies of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and the nations of the Silk Road.

I am here by assignment from God, the Creator of Heaven and earth, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.  I come with the authority delegated to me through the blood of Jesus, the Messiah, who died on the cross of Calvary, which made you a public spectacle.  You are fallen angels, so I come to speak to you in the tongues of angels - - - - - - - (tongues) as well as with the tongues of men. 
      By Him were all things created, including you, you vile principalities and powers.  Jesus, and Jesus only, has the preeminence, and He has disarmed you by His sovereign might.  As an apostle of Jesus Christ, I now decree that the clouds of darkness imposed by the spirit of antichrist in this region will be dispersed.  The light of the gospel of the Kingdom of God will shine through and illumine the peoples of this region with salvation and transformation.

I hereby nullify the alliances being formed between the spirit of religion and the political spirits in these nations.  I decree confusion on their malicious schemes.  They will not be able to produce on earth the schemes that they have devised in Hell.  The schemes of the spirit of Communism to resurge and to take political control are hereby nullified in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. 
      Anti-Semitism will find no ground, but it will be rebuked by the will of the people.  You, spirit of Cain, you who are the root of the manifestation of the antichrist spirits, will be uprooted, torn down, and disconnected from the rulers of these lands.

I decree that legions of angels will be released to fortify the apostles of Jesus Christ represented in this room, as well as others who are not in this gathering, to provide the government that God has established to dethrone and disperse the fallen angels who have ruled this region for much too long.  Your rule is over! 
      The old worship systems will be torn down and the apostolic church will rise up with the divine government of heaven to pour out blessing on the nations of the earth! This will be done for the glory of Jesus Christ and for the advancement of His Kingdom and for the salvation of multitudes of souls throughout the territory. 
      Harvest will increase until the government of the Church and the political governments will enter into a harmony that will bring justice and prosperity to the peoples.  God’s apostolic authority will enable the Church to rise in dominion and to make such headway that the voice of the Church in this region will be heard worldwide."

Marcus Hester added:  "I decree that the wealth of the wicked will be given to the apostles of Jesus Christ so that there will be no restriction of the finances required to advance the Kingdom of God in this region.

God will be glorified both in the heavens and here on earth!"
