Continuing the Watches!
Seeking the Lord at Midnight, 3 AM, 6 AM and 9 AM!

Thursday, September 16, 2010

Dear Watching Saints:

I hope you are enjoying, pressing in, and seeking God with us during the watches. I find it so exciting how the Spirit of God manifests differently at each watch. We will have the whole set of 12 watches available as a set to help you as you choose to do a watch. Each has different aspects of that 3 hour time frame. We have used Biblical patterns for each watch. Such amazing revelation comes when you see the Bible from a time perspective. The watch at 6AM yesterday was just amazing; we unfurled our “Path of Manifold Wisdom.”  Today was the first time I have known us to host a 9 AM watch. This was the watch when the crucifixion began.  This was also the time that Holy Spirit visited at Pentecost.

The Names of God
Janice Swinney has loosed one of God’s names into our atmosphere at each 3 hour integral.  At our first watch last Wednesday, we were declaring that we were entering the days of new administration and that the God of Creation was within us to create new and fresh.  The Lord said spoke to Janice, “If you call me, I will come!  Today, I am El Olam in your midst. The God of Eternity(Everlasting) – all time and space I inhabit within you.”  Some scripture references for this are:  Gen 21:33; Ps 90:1-3; 93:2; Isa 26:4.  Each day, Janice has sought the Lord for one of His names to loose into our atmosphere.  These include:

(9/09) 3:00 pm watch: El Gibbor – The Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6). This is a picture of God as a Warrior and Champion.  Gibbor means Strong or Mighty.

9/10 6:00 pm watch: El Chaiyai – The God of my Life  (Ps 42:8).

9/12 & 13 12:00 am watch: El Hakkavod – The God of Glory (Ps 29:3).

9/14 3:00 am watch: El Sali: – God of my Strength (Ps 42:9).

9/15 6:00 am watch: El Emet – The God of Truth (Ps 31:5).  Emet means firmness, faithfulness, reliable.  Yesterday morning, as we were releasing the name of El Sali, she saw Him as the Rock that followed the children in the wilderness which brought forth Living Water.  The Lord said, “This was the prophesy released – Signs and Wonders following My People”!

9/16 9:00 am watch: El Hakkadosh (Isaiah 5:16). The Holy God who sent the Holy Spirit.

12 Days of Prayer for a New Administration in the Camp of the Lord!  (Sept 8 – 20)
During our 12 days of worship and intercession we are rotating through each of the prayer watches around the clock.  Please add the following to your notes from the first four watches.

The Breaking of a Day (Cockcrowing) Watch (Midnight – 3 AM)
This is a watch where there is much spiritual activity occurring.  I believe many times we are awakened during this watch because of a dream that God has given us.  Most of us equate this watch to Peter’s trial that led him to deny His relationship with the Lord.  If you are having trouble with doubt, unbelief and even the direction of your path, or if there is a covenant breaking spirit in the region of which you are a part of, I especially want to suggest this watch.

The habit of the cock in the East of crowing during the night at regular times gave rise to the expression "cockcrowing" to indicate a definite portion of time (Mark 13:35). The Romans called this the last watch of the night. This watch could also be equated to “the break of day.” This occurred at about three o'clock or what is known as “gallicinium.” The Hebrews designated the cockcrowing period by words signifying "the singing of the cock." Among the Hebrews we find no mention of the flight of the hours of the night except the crowing of the cock.  “Cockcrowing” was an indefinite hour of the night between midnight and morning (Mark 13:35), referred to by all the evangelists in their account of Peter's denial (Matt 26:34,74; Mark 14:30; Luke 22:34; John 13:38). All other New Testament references, however, describe an actual rooster that crowed. The crowing of a rooster reminded Peter how easy it is to deny the Savior.

The Fourth Watch: The Morning Watch - A New Day Dawning  (3 AM – 6 AM)
This watch is linked with the approaching of the morning light and the breaking of the day. There are several words in the Bible linked with this watch:

“Twilight” of the morning (Job 7:4Ps 119:147) “The change from darkness to light” (Job 17:12)

“The approaching of the morning” (Jdg 19:26) “The eyelids” of the morning (Job 3:941:18)

“The ascent” or “rise” of the morning (Josh 6:15) “The approach of the dawn” (Mt 28:1Luke 24:1

Many watches were developed so that protection would be established for God’s people.  One of the greatest studies on the watch is linked with 2 Kings 11. The fourth watch is the last portion of the night, so we always need to be ready to arise and watch. The word generally refers to the day, and means the hour of dawn or soon after (Gen 19:2, 2 Chron. 36:15, Hos 6:4,  Luke 24:22).  Ask the Lord to meet you early so you are prepared for the day ahead.

Read Exodus 14, especially verse 24: Ask God to trouble your enemy during this time.  When you sense the Lord’s presence ask Him to cause your enemies to go into confusion. Read Exodus 34, especially verse 2: “So be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to Me there on the top of the mountain.” (NKJV) During this watch ask the Lord to set your boundaries for the future.  Present yourself to Him and tell Him that you are not willing to go into the day without Him.  Read Genesis 19.  Ask the Lord to deal with iniquitous structures in your life, family and city.  Get up and stand before the Lord and decree that there will come a cleansing of the land that you are a part of.  Read Genesis 22, especially verse 3: “So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.” (NKJV)  Let the Lord show you how to meet Him in the midst of your faith being tested.  Watch for Him to reveal Himself as Jehovah Jireh. Read Genesis 26, especially verse 31:Then they arose early in the morning and swore an oath with one another; and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.” (NKJV) During this watch, ask the Lord to re-dig “wells” of revival from your past.  However, ask the Lord to bring you into a new place of enlargement.

Read Genesis 28, especially verse 18:Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it.” (NKJV)  Ask the Lord to open the heavens and connect heaven and earth where you are.  Also read Luke 11.  Read Exodus 8-12.  As you participate in this watch, ask the Lord to give you the strategy that you need for confronting the enemy that is holding you from prosperity. Read Exodus 23.  The watch is linked with the Feast.  Ask the Lord to order your revelation.  Ask Him to send angels to guide you.  Read Joshua 3, especially verse 1:Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over.” (NKJV)  Ask the Lord to prepare you to cross over into all that He has promised you.  Read Joshua 7, especially verses 14 and 16: “In the morning therefore you shall be brought according to your tribes. And it shall be that the tribe which the LORD takes shall come according to families; and the family which the LORD takes shall come by households; and the household which the LORD takes shall come man by man…. So Joshua rose early in the morning and brought Israel by their tribes, and the tribe of Judah was taken.” (NKJV) If you feel like you have missed a step somewhere and your path seems blocked, ask the Lord to show you anything in your home that should not be there.  Protecting Your Home from Spiritual Darkness can help you discern any items that are giving demons legal right into your home.

Read Ruth 2, especially verse 7:And she said, 'Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.' So she came and has continued from morning until now, though she rested a little in the house." (NKJV)  Also read Ruth 3, especially verses 13-14:’Stay this night, and in the morning it shall be that if he will perform the duty of a close relative for you — good; let him do it. But if he does not want to perform the duty for you, then I will perform the duty for you, as the LORD lives! Lie down until morning.’ So she lay at his feet until morning, and she arose before one could recognize another. Then he said, ‘Do not let it be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.’" (NKJV)  From the gleaning of the day before, ask God how to favor you in such a way that your past can be redeemed and your future established.  Read 1 Samuel 1-3.  Ask the Lord to break any spirit of barrenness.  Many times during this watch you will experience travail.  Travail like Hannah to bring forth the future.

Read 2 Chronicles 20, especially verse 20: “So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, ‘Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.’" (NKJV)  Sing a song to the Lord.  Ask the Lord to send confusion into the enemy’s camp.  Declare that you will take the spoils of the enemy.   Read Psalm 5.  Set you alarm clock, get up and let God hear your voice at the breaking of the day.

Read Isaiah 21, especially verse 12:The watchman said, 'The morning comes, and also the night.  If you will inquire, inquire; return! Come back!’" (NKJV)  Tell the Lord what you see.  Read Isaiah 28, especially verse 19:As often as it goes out it will take you; for morning by morning it will pass over, and by day and by night; it will be a terror just to understand the report." (NKJV)  Declare that any shroud of death that has been holding you captive will be removed.  Also, declare that your spirit will be free of all vexation.  Read Isaiah 50, especially verse 4:The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary.  He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned.” (NKJV)

Ask the Lord to give you a right word for every moment throughout your day ahead.

6:00AM:  The Day is Dawning! The First Hour!
Read Isaiah 58, especially verse 8:Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.” (NKJV)  Declare that your health will spring forth at the breaking of the day.  Read Matthew 20, especially verse 1:For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.” (NKJV)Ask the Lord to help you find the help you need for the coming day. Read Mark 1, especially verse 35: Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” (NKJV)  Find a place to have a quiet time before you enter the day ahead.  Read Matthew 14.  Declare that Jesus will meet you in the midst of your storm.  Read John 20 - 21.  Notice that the disciples returned to their old way of making a living after Jesus’ death.  Also notice that Jesus met them, called them and showed them how to prosper for the future.  During this watch listen for the call of the Lord on how to proceed for your future.

The first appearance of light in the morning as the sun rises (Job 7:4; Isa 58:10; Acts 27:33). Matthew's account of the resurrection of Christ begins with these words: "Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb" (Matt 28:1). Matthew also quotes the prophet Isaiah, using the figure of the dawn as the beginning of a wonderful new era of hope and promise: "The people who sat in darkness saw a great light" (Matt 4:16). Dawn is illustrative of the glory of the church (Song 6:10); the love of God is compared to the breaking of the day

In Isa 58:8 we find the phrase, “the wings of the dawn.” This is where a rapid movement (Ps 139:9) begins. In the expression "as the dawn is spread over the mountains" (Joel 2:2), the prophet refers to the bright glimmer or splendor that is seen in the sky as a swarm of locusts approaches. Christ is called the "morning star" (Rev 22:16).

9:00AM: The 3rd Hour!
At our prayer meeting this morning we dealt with the flesh and declared that we would crucify our flesh so that the Spirit could rise up and overtake our life. Mark 15:25 says, “And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. He laid his life down for us at this time.”   I am praying that we not allow our flesh to rule, but rise up in the Spirit. This was also the time that Holy Spirit visited the earth at Pentecost. Acts 2:15 says, “For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.”

Blessings,
Chuck D. Pierce

Head of the Year 5771 Conference Set

http://gloryofzion.org/webstore/ProdImages/Music_CD_TheDarknessTurns_bg.jpg
Our Head of the Year gathering in Denton, Texas on September 9-12, 2010 was an incredible time of tabernacling with the LORD in celebration of the new Hebraic Year 5771.  While we met in a former Home Depot building, we experienced His Glory in a powerful way.  We have now entered a season of unbridled power, and the Lord is asking each of us if we will submit to the King.

We began with Dutch Sheets’ announcement that we are in a new move of God with a new handshake between awakening and reformation that will change both society and the world!  Chuck Pierce helped us embrace the significance of this New Year, and opened our ears to what the Spirit of God is saying at this time in history.  Robert Heidler shared understanding on this Ayin Aleph year, and how 5771 is a time to turn and see the “page one” of the season ahead.  Kenny Blacksmith moved us to recognize that our “first page” is to return to our first loveMary Glazier declared that the Lord is issuing a wake-up call, and that He is calling the First Nations to take their place in the move of God

Pat Francis announced that this is harvest time, and the time for the transference of wealth has come.  Paul Keith Davis stirred us to be a group of people with the courage of Caleb, and who will change the atmosphere wherever we goRabbi Ted Simon taught us on preparing provision for those who have blessed us on our way, and how the appointed time to favor Zion has come. Venner Alston preached on God’s strategy to build His model, and how when we follow God’s blueprint, His glory fallsRobert Heidler also shared that God has appointed times which lead us into His glory, and that keeping His appointed times sets us in His timing for our lives.  Furthermore, we must learn to prepare a place for the Lord to dwell – a place that is holy and not ordinary.  Barbara Wentroble closed the gathering with a call to allow the Lord to reposition ourselves and press to find a new path in, despite closed doors.

There is really no way to adequately describe all that was released at this gathering except that we have moved into the next season and are moving from GLORY to GLORY!

Redeeming the Time by Chuck D. Pierce
Also available in Spanish ($12) and Portuguese ($12)

http://gloryofzion.org/webstore/ProdImages/Music_CD_TheDarknessTurns_bg.jpg
This book helps you answer the difficult question of how to get back in sync with God when you realize you missed a window of opportunity. This is an amazing principle to understand. When one window closes, the Lord has a divine plan to reposition another time and another place for you to enter His blessings. How many times do we wish we could go back in time to undo or redo something? Although the Lord doesn't take us back in time, He has the ability to bring our past "into" our future so that we have a second opportunity to choose and get back in His perfect timing. Redeeming the Time will help you recognize God's timing in your life and determine if you are in step or out of step with God's plans and purposes. This book will also help you align yourself with God's perfect timing system, and reap rewards of a life spent in step with our Father. There is also a chapter that will help you understand the Triumphant Reserve that is emerging from state to state.

Also available in Spanish ($8) and Portuguese ($12)

http://gloryofzion.org/webstore/ProdImages/Music_CD_TheDarknessTurns_bg.jpg
This book carries the message of what I represent in the Body of Christ: the Issachar Anointing. Interpreting the Times will give you an idea of what it takes to make it through narrow transitions. If ever we needed to understand GOD in our time and space, it is NOW!  This book will move you to understand the "process of time" that may presently be controlling you, into seeing your way into a place of future victory!
