Firstfruits: Leaving the Narrow Place to See the King in the Field!

Dear Persevering Saints:

Firstfruits Celebration for Elul this Friday Night!  Make plans to join us this Friday night for our Rosh Chodesh Celebration for the Hebraic month of Elul.  This will be a time when we celebrate leaving the narrow place to meet the King in the field!  We begin at 7:00 PMon Friday, and continue on Saturday morning from 8:00 AM till around noon.  (Then you are welcome to join us on Saturday afternoon for Peter Wagner’s Birthday Bash – see details below.)  This is the month of the tribe of Gad, a month to find your place in the order of the camps of the Lord.  This is also a time when rewards begin to manifest from how you have positioned yourself in the past season.  Traditionally, Elul is a month of self-examination and repentance before the Lord in preparation for the Head of the Year.  I hope you can join us at Glory of Zion for this special gathering on Friday night and Saturday morning when we honor the Lord with our firstfruits of time and giving.  There is no registration needed to join us, in person or by webcast.

In this dream there was a swimming pool that had been finished but not filled.  A person had gotten too close to the pool and had fallen in.  When they were standing in the point of the deep end, they saw there were no stairs to climb out.  They began to cry out for help and a water hose came over the side.  Water began coming through the hose and the pool started filling.  The person grabbed for the water hose but it would never get taut enough for them to pull themselves out.   Then the Lord gave me this verse to pray from the story of Elisha when he sent his servant out to look at for enemy, “Look and see what help is on your side.”  I saw the angels form around the person in a place of support.  Then I realized that the deliverance was not coming by the water hose, but by the filling.  As the water began to fill the pool, his ankles were covered, then his knees, then his waist, then his chest, and the next thing you knew, he was at the top of the pool and all he had to do was to step out on steady ground.  

The Lord says, “Don’t fight against what you perceive your lifeline to be.  Change your perspective and see the help that He has surrounded you with for the time ahead. Be encouraged. Settle down and receive the new lifeline so that you might find your footing. Arise in His presence in a new way.  Yes, His presence is there. Look and see His angelic forces that will surround you and guide you.  Swim, My child, because you will arise to a new place of victory.  Look and see.  The veil has been rent.  Help is on your side.  See the angels I have placed there because today is the day the army has formed. They will guard you as you arise from your pit and find your footing. Watch carefully what and who I am sending you this week for it is going to be surprising how I pull you out and pull you into the place I have for you.”

This has to be a day of change.  Some of you have heard the message over and over and your hands are still closed.  The angels have truly come to minister to you.  You’ve said, “Lord, I don’t know what I’m going to do about this, but I can’t open up my hand even with an angel trying to pry it open; it doesn’t open.  The Lord says, “Many are being delivered of the spirit of Greece.  This is a day of freedom.  I’m doing a new thing.  I’m setting minds free.  I’m giving opportunities for you to actually have the mind of Christ; there is an opportunity for freedom this week with that Radical angelic host that is coming.

“Let go of that frustration.  You are trying to win in your own strength.  Let go of it!”

Birthday Bash for Peter Wagner - This Saturday!
On Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM you are invited to join us for our Birthday Bash to celebrate Peter Wagner’s 80th birthday.  With the present heat wave we are experiencing here in Texas (triple digits each day), we do not want see any of you “baked” on the land!  So we have actually shifted our program to an INDOOR FACILITY.  Since there is limited parking at our venue, we are asking everyone to still meet on our land along Interstate 35.  We will have air conditioned buses to drive you onto the site of the party itself.  We will begin with a time of food and fellowship where we can celebrate the gift that Peter is to us personally and to the Body of Christ.  We will also have great music (some of Peter and Doris’ all time favorites), pictures from their life together, and even an auction of some of their antique harvest tools that they have collected over the years.  You will also be able to purchase Peter’s brand new book, Wrestling with Alligators, Prophets and Theologians!  This will be a gathering that you will not want to miss!

Join us for a Week of Evening Prayer on the Land!
Beginning this Sunday (August 15), we will host “Evening Prayer on the Land” for seven consecutive days. Our focus will be getting the Ark positioned for the future!  So from August 15 – 21, everyone is welcome to join us at 6:00 PM for a time of prayer.  We will meet on our land near the pond in the shade of the trees.  Begin each new day at sunset!

Key Resources to Help you Meet the King in the Field!

Living in the Spirit of Revelation! 
This weekend of focusing on dreams and night revelation was amazing. Chuck Pierce began by sharing on Daniel and how “Dream Revelation Influences a Nation”. James Goll taught from Ephesians 1:17 on the spiritual realm and the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of the Father of Glory. Barbie Breathitt shared from the life of Jacob and how when we lay down and rest, we can receive revelation and partner with the angelic realm. Robert Heidler taught on “Listening To Your Dreams” and understanding the ways the Lord can speak to us in our sleep. Barbie Breathitt shared more on the language of dreams, and how the logic of dreams differs from human logic.  We also celebrated Firstfruits for the fourth month of the Hebraic year.
