Dear Steadfast Saints:
These are such key times for us to set our faces like flint to make it through 24 intense days of change. The situation in the Gulf was one the reasons I gave the word linked with this time. The Lord spoke to me at the beginning of the Oil Spill and said that this would be a 100 day ordeal. I still have an intercession in my heart when I see the news reports. During this time of fasting and prayer, they have capped the well, but keep praying. I am not sure that we have broken through in this situation.
Remember, the LORD is saying, “Stand fast. Stop three days during the 24 and let Me determine your fast. I will then secure your possessions for the future. I will secure the next generation that is to follow you in. I will remove the enemy that is on the way. Stand firm with Me. Seek Me while I may be found. I will see to it that you get through this narrow place. Some of you feel like you are on a shelf. You’re not on a shelf. I am going to give you a strategy to come through in these next 24 days. I have gotten you to this place in this new journey that you’re on, and now you’re going to come through. Expect Me to move on your behalf. Expect Me to move. I know the plans I have for you, so expect Me to move. Expect your latter to be greater than where you began.”

am I? What is my purpose? He has fasted during this time of Dire Straits.

Celebrating
a Leader and a Shifting Wineskin!
I appreciated the responses we received on the transition for Peter and Doris
Wagner from Global Harvest to Global Spheres. As Peter prepares to turn 80
next month, he and Doris are pressing through to their “Fourth Career” in a new
wineskin based out of Denton. Their lives have been an incredible journey,
including 16 years as missionaries in Bolivia. His newest book, Memoirs:
Wrestling with Alligators, Prophets and Theologians, will
be released on his birthday (August 15). Tonight, he will be hosting “An
Evening with Peter” that focuses on his memoirs. This is a free webcast
that many of you will want to join. Just go to the Global Harvest Ministries
website (www.globalharvest.org) to log on to this webcast which
begins tonight at 7:00 PM (Mountain Daylight Time).
Join
us on Saturday, August 14, for Peter Wagner’s 80th Birthday Party!
One of the
greatest honors in my life has been getting to know and serve Peter and Doris
Wagner. Although I first met them in the early 1990s, their missions call goes
back to the 1950s when they served as missionaries in Bolivia for over 15
years. Since that time, they have been associated with several global
movements of the Holy Spirit, including spiritual warfare and the apostolic
reformation. The weekend begins at 7:00 PM on Friday, August 13 for our
monthly Firstfruits Celebration for Elul, and continues on
Saturday morning. On Saturday, August 14, at 2 PM comes the “Birthday
Bash” for Peter’s 80th birthday. We will begin in a tent on the
LAND along Interstate 35! THEN WE WILL SHIFT TO AN INDOOR FACILITY for a
TEXAS BAR-B-Q! We want to invite all of you to join us! This will be a
fun time of food and fellowship where we can celebrate the gift that Peter is
to us personally and to the Body of Christ. Dress will be casual as we will be
out on the land on a summer day in Texas. There is NO COST to join us, but we
do need an idea of how many will be attending. Please RSVP today by

to register for Peter’s Birthday Party. We will conclude our special weekend on Sunday
(August 15) with Peter ministering at one of our Sunday morning services. So
make plans to join us for our Firstfruits Celebration on Friday night and
Saturday morning, our Birthday Bash on Saturday afternoon, and our services on
Sunday morning.
Another
Week of Mobilizing the Triumphant Reserve! “Going Up to a High Place to
Worship!
Thank you for praying for my time in New Jersey on Sunday. On Sunday morning,
I was with Peter and Trisha Roselle at King of Kings Worship Center Basking
Ridge, NJ to help dedicate their new facility. However, we ended up dedicating
far more than a new worship center. When I arrived, I could sense this was actually
a FREEDOM OUTPOST. The Embracing the Triumphant Glory gathering on Sunday
night in Collingswood was also powerful! Remember, the Lord told us to “go to
high places and worship”. This meeting was held in Scottish Rite Ballroom in
the Temple. Oh my! The Spirit of God moved with miracles and incredible
anointing. (see picture below)
This week I am traveling to several other states to help mobilize the Triumphant Reserve. On Wednesday night I will in Southern Illinois for the Awaken Your Might Gathering. This gathering is begin hosted by James Nesbit in Pontoon Beach. On Thursday night, I will be in Northern Illinois for The Triumphant Reserve. Roxie Elliot is hosting this gathering in Mount Prospect where Barbara Wentroble and Anne Tate will also be ministering.
On Friday night and Saturday morning, I will be ministering in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the Fragmentation to Fruitfulness Conference. Roger and Charlotte Merschbrock are hosting this key gathering. In a time when this state is struggling with the effects of the Gulf Crisis, this an hour to declare that what has become desolate can be restored and bring forth new life! I hope many of you in the region will be able to join us. Barbara Wentroble will also be ministering there.
On Sunday morning, Linus Vaughn and I will be ministering at Glory of Zion. Linus will minister on “Multiplying During the Dire Straits” and I will speak on “Going Up to a High Place Beyond Your Snare!” I am looking forward to being at Glory of Zion again and seeing many of you in Denton or on the web!
