Dear Prayer Warriors:

We are now in Zagred, Croatia and I am getting ready to speak.  I wanted to share what the Lord has been speaking to me this week:

“You’ve been holding a machete waiting to cut your way through and into the place called Future.  You have waited and waited and now this knife has grown dull.  But now I am sending angelic hosts to sharpen your weapon and assist in cutting you through.  Your tongue has even grown powerless in this last season because your faith and hope have been deferred. But this is NOW! I will put MY Word in your mouth. You will speak with a new vigor. I AM sharpening your tongue. Get ready, for all things are being sharpened.  Get ready, for all things are being sharpened.  Get ready, for you will now cut and your way will open up.  

“In your present warfare, there is a sound of inheritance that I’m unlocking.  With this sound of inheritance, you’ll look back and see how the enemy has tried to capture the way that you were to advance.  You have been caught up in trying to save and hold on to that which was yours.  You have gotten tangled in warring for that which I gave you.  Now you will break into what I have. There’s a sound that is going to unlock a hidden contract.  There’s a sound that is going to pull the pegs out of the door. Your entry way into this new place has been too narrow! 

“There is a sound where the Spirit will speak expressively to you.  The Spirit will prevent you from moving one step to the right.  The Spirit will prevent you from moving one step to the left.  My Spirit now is bringing a sound into the earth that will keep you on the narrow way.  Where the enemy had you tangled in the warfare over your inheritance, you will now see and say, ‘This is the portion that I will take this day.’” 

When I was prophesying this, LeAnn Squier began to sing:

“I heard a mouse beginning to roar.
I heard a sound beginning to grow,
The sound of fear letting go, letting go.
I heard a mouse beginning to roar.
He suddenly knew what he was here for.
I heard the mouse beginning to roar.
I heard the sound of fear letting go.
I heard the sound begin to grow.
It moved across the earth changing the way things are,
Changing the landscape.
I heard a mouse beginning to roar.

“For even in your weakness there is a sound that I will bring forth.  For the war has weakened you but in the midst of this weakening state, there is a sound that will begin to grow.  This sound will take you to a place that I will show you what I long for you to see.  For the war entangled around you was based upon what you saw, what you began to war for.  But now the order is coming up in your weakness and you will see in a way you could not see. What was small and insignificant in the harvest ahead now is beginning to rise up. The small and weak will become strong in sound.  There is something small that is within you that will begin to unravel the greater portion.  The small within you is beginning to roar now.

“I can make dead trees come to life if there is any life down deep in the root.  I can cause life to spring up.  I can cause leaves to bud forth.  Call forth the life that needs to sprout now. Legality has tried to surround you.   Legal, religious forces have tried to quench your life.  But there is a tap spring of life that is down deep in your root.  I say now that life is rising.  Watch Me cause the life in you to push away the darkness around you in the coming week.

“You once danced and in your dancing life sprang forth.  But now through your working you have lost the step.  I am causing My people to find their step again.  They will dance upon the head of that which has tried to squeeze the life out of them.”

CROATIA
Croatia is a huge gateway where the East and West meet.  It is part of the Balkans, which taken together geographically, seems to be the birth place of contention.  Many huge conflicts have come out of this area that pulls relationally many other nations into the fray.  The Balkans has always been where the strongest lines of defense have been drawn and penetrated along ethnic boundaries.  Currently, many of the Balkan Nations are asking for EU membership and are unable to move forward into their place of promise without a new mindset over racial issues.

Following are the prayer points:

  1. Please pray for the team for traveling mercies and strength to finish with no delays or missed connections.
  2. Pray for health for every team member from beginning to end.
  3. Please pray for a clear, prophetic word with specifically out lined strategy for each of the Balkan Nations represented in our gathering.
  4. The Balkans has changed in their make-up. Much bloodshed has occurred in the past seasons.
  5. Pray for all finances to be provided for the completion of the mission for those the Lord is calling there.
  6. Pray that the hearts of the people will perceive and understand God’s call for this season.
  7. Pray for the strategies of the Lord to be released to the intercessors of the Balkans and for them to rise up and stand as the Army of the Lord.
  8. Pray for Signs, Wonders and Miracles to demonstrate the Word of the Lord as we minister.
  9. Pray for worship to be energized and fervent so that heaven and earth connect.
  10. Pray for a continuous flow between the speakers and a clear message to the people.

Pray for the Balkans and believe God to move by His Spirit in the Balkan countries. FreeBalkans.com recognizes the following countries, that occupy the Balkan Peninsula in SE Europe, as the Balkan countries; Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and (European) Turkey.

  1. Pray for the Catholic church of Croatia. Like a lot of European countries the people have a false sense of salvation because of the state church. People believe that because they were baptized as a child then that is all that is required of them. Lord, convict the priests (the shepherds) of what Your word really says about being saved by faith, and faith alone. What great damnation is set aside for those that falsely led others! [See Note 1]
  2. Protestant and Pentecostal churches are allowed to exist in Croatia; may they be diligent to properly interpret the word of God. Croatia is in a time of change and the churches have an opportunity as people are seeking to better their lives.
  3. The Croatian churches are good about ministering to children. As they are planning their summer programs, pray that they may devise ways to reach out to the un-churched children in the cities and villages. Many children look forward to the summer camps; this year Lord, pour out your Spirit like never before.
  4. Every year a flood of tourist come to the Adriatic Sea along the Croatian coast to vacation; Lord give the Christians a strategy to present the gospel.
  5. Like Serbia, Croatia sacrificed much to hold back the spread of Islam in centuries past. Pray that Croatia may once again stand strong against cults and false religions. [See Note 2]
  6. As radio and television stations in Croatia seek out content to fill their air time, there is opportunity for gospel programming. Lord, we ask for the release of creativity to produce broadcasts that reach the populace right where they are at. Not religious but spiritually alive with relevant content that speaks to the hearts of the people.[See Note 3]

Barbara Yoder shared the following:  "You’re dealing with the war zone in the heavenlies over the Balkans. That is partly why everything is breaking out. Alert the Intercessors that we are not dealing with normal warfare. We’re dealing with world powers, rulers, because this is where the world wars broke out. So there is a huge war we’re entering, stepping into the gap where the demons are swirling (actually snarling). We’re establishing a new kingdom and displacing satan’s. You can forward this to the Intercessors so they understand the significance.

This means that they are to be aware of all kinds of distracting and conflicting issues which may seem isolated and personal but are really intended to keep them off track and from praying through. This is the most significant meeting in Croatia since the fall of communism and perhaps in centuries. It is the region that I believe the early church traversed on their way from Jerusalem to Rome, We will be in the region of Istria when we leave Zagreb.

Watchmen Charge
Pastor Barbara has labored in the Balkan region for a number of years. God showed her it was time to bring teams in, to shift this region. The shift is in, as she wrote above, a warring, contentious region that has had the enemy actually kill, steal and destroy people and the things of God. BUT NOW, is the time for the kingdom to advance. The Kingdom suffereth violence so that the violent forcefully advance it.

Firstfruits Gathering for Sivan: Open the Heavens!  (Saturday, May 15 at 7:00 PM)
I am looking forward to our Firstfruits Celebration for the Hebraic month of Sivan on Saturday, May 15.  This is such a key time for us as we transition from Passover to Pentecost.  Sivan is recognized as a month of receiving your boundaries, and is when the Israelites received the 10 Commandments.  Of course, we also celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit during this month -- the gift and promise that Jesus instructed the disciples to wait for.  This is a time of giving and anticipation, and a month of great rejoicing.  We hope that many of you will be able to join us onsite at 7:00 PM or by webcast.  There is no charge or registration needed to attend.
