Thanksgiving: A Time for Giving and Blessings!

November 24, 2009

Dear Ones:

This picture represents our heart cry for you in the days ahead. May your life be filled with His bountiful pleasures.  May He bless you with all blessings in Heavenly places. May you recognize that there is life and life in abundance for you to experience.  May you enter His GATES with Thanksgiving!

My wife’s favorite holiday of year is Thanksgiving. Yes, she loves our nation, but the real reason is this—she was an orphan and knows the power of adoption. She is a thankful person. She thanks God for her adoption.  She embraces His love and the love that He showed her for picking her up in the midst of chaos and establishing her path where there was no path. She, like Hannah, thanks our Lord for opening her womb and giving her children and grandchildren. She is whole because of her thankful heart. She is thankful for the freedoms that we have been given in this nation to worship the Lord who created heaven and earth and have given this generation the opportunity steward His plan of fullness. I have watched her thank God in her trials as well as in her Glory. Her new book The Rewards of Simplicity is one of the best for this season ahead (due our January 1, 2010).

In her heart, she feels the most important holiday should be the one that reminds us to be thankful. Because of that, many times she has shared with me how she feels this holiday is overlooked. Thanksgiving has become a kickoff for “The Christmas Sales Season”, rather than a time to stop and reflect on what the Lord has so bountifully given us. We can miss “life” and the abundance that has been offered to each of us by being caught in the trappings of the world.  We stopped and prayed for each of you to stop for a moment! Reflect! See His bountiful blessings in the good times and the bad. Look deep into your life and be thankful for all that has been given (Ps. 46, Philippians 4)to you, life and liberty. Never forget the freedoms we have been given.

Look AGAIN or “PALIN”!
Do not forget about our webcast replay schedule this week.  Although we are not hosting Tuesday Morning Corporate Prayer or Wednesday Noon Prophetic Intercession, we will have webcast replays available.  Then we will also have Saturday night’s Firstfruits Celebration available for “on demand” replay through next Saturday night.  Just go to www.gloryofzion.org and select the “Webcast Information” link.  While on our website, don’t miss the Media Page link where we now have the video from Saturday morning’s session when Deborah DeGar released the “PALIN” exhortation.

Alms Giving: October 15 – November 21, 2009!
Two weeks ago we asked for those who needed help to send “what they had” and then the bill that was pressing them. This was God’s extended hand to help many make their way through these times that are critical. In a crisis time, the prophet gift is important. When you read 2 Kings 4, you find the in-debt widow, with two sons, asking the prophet, Elisha, for help. He asks her, “What can I do for you?” Once she explains her situation he asks: “What do you have in your house?” These two questions are very key for us at this time! In your crisis, always remember these two questions. You will have something to release that will open up a miracle for what you have.

I knew that all of us were to help those less fortunate than we as we went into this new season. Here is a synopsis of what we did. We took what we were sent and with your help multiplied and helped many.

Incoming Gifts Received with bills:   $7,402.49
Gifts received from other donors:      $6234.00
Total Giving:                                      $13,637.49

Debt Assistant Requested:                  $233,668.75
($305,000 mortgage foreclosure request removed)

Debt Assistance Given:                                  $50,421.36
Assistance to Requested Debt Ratio:  21.58%

Assistance to Income Ratio:               369.73%

Thank you so much for helping us to help many. Look around you, there are many less fortunate. Offer assistance. Yesterday, I went to Walmart with my wife and Chloe, our granddaughter. When we were checking out, I noticed a couple on the register who were removing one gallon of milk from their cart due to lack of funds. I asked my checkout person to excuse me and went over and gave what I had in my pocket to them. He found me later in the parking lot and with tears in his eyes, thanked me for the assistance. I shared the Lord with him. Look Again! Many opportunities to give are all around you this season!

WE HAVE ENTERED PHASE II! CROSS OVER WITH US! Pressing to Passover!
God's timing is perfect. I have been waiting to receive the next plan for us as we all advance into this new season. You can go to www.gloryofzion.org (this is where I am presenting the Plan) to watch this. I showed the first rendering of the "Prayer Watchman Tower" and a place for Glory Gatherings on the land. We would like to see the infrastructure, parking and Prayer Tower ready by Passover. In all likelihood, we will place a TENT where the overall gathering place will eventually be. We will continue PRESSING FORWARD in PHASE II until we can make the decree that PASSOVER is restored to the CHURCH and the working of the BLOOD is vibrant once again in the Kingdom of God!

ENTER THE NEXT PHASE WITH US THROUGH PRAYING AND GIVING! YOU CAN GO TO www.gloryofzion.org on our website to give or call 1-888-965-1099.

This Sunday!
Robert Heidler and I will be ministering. Join us at 8:00AM for the The Power of Lift service and at 10AM for the The Power of Use service. Robert will be teaching on “Jesus SAW”. You will not want to miss this. I will be sharing on “Return and Be Whole”!

We bless you and are thankful for you!
