“The New Has Begun! Have You?” by Chuck D. Pierce One of the ways that I attempt to help God’s children interpret times is to use the Hebrew calendar. I look at the meaning of the numbers representing the year and pray for my year to reflect His year! This is a year to move from one dimension of glory to the next. Issachar was the tribe that knew how to move into the new by understanding times and seasons and releasing wisdom on what Israel should do to make every transition in their history successful. Consequently, I have tried to present that tribe in the earth today so God’s children would know the times we are living in and what we should do to ready ourselves to advance in the earth. When we are serving the Lord and seeking His Kingdom plan, I believe each year brings new challenges and new joys for each of us. The Hebrew number system has always helped me as I focus each year on decreeing the “best” the Lord has for me and my family and those connected with me. I do not think you have to understand the Hebrew year to know the will of God, but it is advantageous to understand God’s timing as opposed to our culture’s timing. In Hebrew, numbers have word meaning, which have picture meaning, which have sounds. This brings a fuller perspective than just saying we have entered the year 2008. The Hebraic Year 5768, which will encompass the Gregorian calendar’s Year of the Lord 2008 A.D., is “The Year of Samekh Chet!” That means we are coming into “The Year of the Full Circle of Life.” Therefore, a New Beginning is yours! The question becomes, “Have we broken old cycles, submitted our stubborn wills, dethroned our idolatrous ways, and started our next season of freedom and favor in the Lord?” The decisions and actions we make now affect generations ahead. Therefore, when we know how the Lord wants us to respond and we do so, His glory infiltrates the earth and we see Him change our atmosphere and environment. Because of God’s relationship to time, He can—and often does—seem to answer our prayers before they have been uttered! Two Seasons OVERLAP! We are finishing the year of SEVEN (7). The year of seven is always a year of completion and fulfillment. This was a time to finish strong. The number seven, Zayin (in Hebrew), is a sword with a crown. This was a year of dividing asunder soul and spirit, finishing and completing certain phases of your life and mending what needs to be mended. How you have overcome in the past season causes you to receive favor for your future! The sword is the Word, so we are living in a time of the Prophetic decrees! We are now beginning a new phase with new beginnings. However, we are still living in the last year of a seven year war season that has been preparing us for the season ahead. (If you have not read Future War of the Church and God’s Unfolding Battle Plan, I highly recommend them as references for your future.) This year, your past traumas must become your future strengths. There are many examples in the Word of God. One example is Jesus getting baptized at the Jordan. This completed His first season, or 30 years, on earth. He had to be baptized to fulfill all righteousness. The obedient act of baptism initiated Him into the new, empowered phase of His ministry. He then faced the devil in an intense battle and moved from there to redeem mankind, do miracles, and confront the religious systems of the day. The message of the Kingdom was demonstrated with power. There may be one simple thing holding you from moving into your next phase of joy, power, and freedom, in your life, family, ministry, or business. We are Moving from Glory to Glory – The Year 5768 - A Year of “HOT”! The number eight (8) is always linked with “new beginnings”! This Hebrew word is linked with life and being hot! We move from rain and floods to wind and fire! The Lord will both burn away the dross in our lives and territories and then unlock new passion. Our testings from the fire produce gold this year. We are entering into a year where we must choose to be hot, filled with passion, so we can conceive our future! Choose the fire and the zeal of God! You are being positioned to make a transition into the next realm of glory. Here are eight (8) key issues that we can look forward to as we enter the Hebraic Year 5768 and mature through the year ahead! How you have staked your claim and how you have allowed the Sword of the Lord to have its way in your life will produce your new beginning. Some will enter with favor, others with bondage. However, you will begin something new! Even if you refused to shift into a visible new dimension, your present state will be your new state. God will meet you where you are and cause you to start new - if you yield! You can catch up quickly and gain momentum, even if you have resisted change. If you do not yield, your new place will be your old cycle with the old structures reinforced seven times. 1. This is a Year of Manifestation! There will be a physical manifestation of what you have been watching and waiting to see! New boundaries will form. You can supernaturally transcend your limitations and begin your new era. You can have access to a new place of revelation. The land and the heavens align to create a new, divine Presence in your atmosphere. 2. "Dominion" will be the Key Word for this Year! Rule where you have been positioned. Rule, or watch the “wild beasts” gain ground in your land. Review and redefine your sphere of authority. Because of you coming to a new, holy awareness of the Lord, there will be some demons that can not follow you into the future. God’s people will have great authority over their enemies. The nations against you can be driven out of your land! All squatters must go from your inheritance, or they gain “squatters rights” and their encroachment will remain another season. Land is equated to the state of our mind. Therefore, this is the year to transform the mind so we have a new victory mentality in the war season we are living in. Subdue your “animal impulses.” Find your place of deliverance and do not let any wild beast enter your highway. Be aggressive to overthrow all poverty mentality! “A lion is on the road, I will hide myself,” should not be your theme. Stand firm, and face any transgression so you can move down your path! We must know what is driving us. The Holy Spirit must be preeminent in our lives. The year of 5768/2008 will be the year that we are driven to accomplish our desires. This will be a year that supernatural power has access to mankind. We must stay under the influence of Holy Spirit, or other spirits will drive us to agree with the plans of darkness in the earth. Isaiah 35 is a key chapter for us this year. 3. Exodus 23 is also a Key Chapter for this Year. God forms His covenant in new ways to advance us into our future destiny. This applies to families, regions, and nations. If we have forgotten and rejected His covenant in certain areas, those blessings will not be a part of our future. We must return and review our covenant roots and realign now! Do not despise small beginnings. Little by little, take your land. If you will start going, angelic hosts will then descend to get you to your “there”. 4. 5768 will be a Year of Momentum! The year ahead will not only be a year to begin a fresh season in your life, but 5768 will be a year when the Body of Christ gains momentum. An object with momentum is difficult to stop. To stop such an object, it is necessary to apply a force against its motion for a given period of time. The more momentum an object has, the less likely it is to stop its forward motion. This will be a year when forces vie for momentum. God will be moving on us! Will we respond to Him? The enemy forces that we have not resisted will be moving with force to slow down a Kingdom that is advancing in the earth realm. We must not allow the voices of fear, unbelief and doubt to stop us from advancing. The violent are taking the Kingdom of Heaven by force. We are under the impulsion, or driving force, of a King. We must gain momentum now! 5. This is a Year of Super-Abundant Grace! All 8’s “go beyond”. We must go beyond our last anointing and SUPER-ABOUND into the next season. Resurrection power is available to us. There were 8 recorded resurrections from the dead. A double portion of miracle working power is there for us to enter into. Elijah did 8 recorded miracles; Elisha performed 16! 6. This is a Year to OVERCOME! Fasten yourself to the Lord. Do not let the enemy’s hook drag you off the stage of your future! Break your orphan spirit! Return to a place of innocence! The secret place calls you forth. Stay in the secret place so you can be sent forth on key missions. The book of John and all of his Epistles are key for our transition this year. 7. This is a Year of Circumcision. Circumcisions were performed on the eighth (8) day. Circumcision is linked with “rolling away a reproach”. Declare all the reproaches from your past seasons are rolled away. 8. This is a Feast of Tabernacles Year. There was one major feast linked with eight (8) days, the Feast of Tabernacles. God intended for us to celebrate for seven (7) days and take a Shabbat on the 8th. Remember your past wildernesses, but celebrate your way into your new beginning and enter into a REST! This is God’s Year of New Beginnings—ENTER IN!
